Monica Sandulescu is the only Sensory Theater Trainer in Vienna. The Colombian anthropologist Enrique Vargas brought the Sensory Theater to Europe at the end of the last century. He founded the famous group ‘ Teatro de Los Sentidos’ in Barcelona. He created spectacular, immersive theater productions in previous years.
Monica Sandulescu learned this method from the theater director and trainer Iwan Brioc, a direct student of Enrique Vargas.
Between 2012 and 2015, she performed in different theater installations, fell in love with this method, and decided to become a trainer.
Between 2020-2022 she was part of an intensive Erasmus training on Immersive Theater. She has been working with the following European Sensory Immersive Theater associations: Theater Company “Labirint” from Bucharest, ‘The Republic of the Imagination’ from the UK, ‘Project XX1’ from Italy, ‘LAMA’ in Austria, and ‘Sensory Theater Sofia’ from Bulgaria.
The ‘Sensory Team Building’ is a unique program promoting healthy relationships between humans.
Using all the tools from the Sensory Theater, this team building is focused on deepening the relationships between co-workers of a company by using more of our senses and less of our words. It brings forward a series of exercises meant to raise the quality of the connection one has with the other, improve the company’s productivity, and create a more relaxing working environment. This type of Team Building allows the co-workers to get to know each other better by being creative outside the office.
